It’s a New Year and a New You!  ERC is presenting you with the Year of Self-Care. We invite our members, employees, and social media followers to join us in a self-care practice for each month of 2020. Each month, we will present a new practice that is a smaller, more manageable change that will lead you to a healthier lifestyle. The idea is to make changes bit by bit rather than all at once. ERC will be right there with you providing tips and encouragement for your practice.  We hope you find this enjoyable and helpful in making 2020 The Year of Self-Care.

February Practice - Focus on Yourself

For February's Year of Self Care Practice, ERC is asking you to Focus on Yourself - spend just 20 minutes every day focused completely on yourself.  We live in a fast-paced society that is constantly consumed with pleasing others so you deserve to take some time for yourself.  This can be any activity you choose with one caveat, exclude all electronics and screens.  Some of our recommended activities include: meditation, nature walks, reading a book, yoga, journaling, or lifting weights.  We invite you to have a slow-down moment every day for 20 minutes.   Put all other commitments and responsibilities aside and FOCUS ON YOURSELF.
