Lego Master!!

Posted on April 16, 2020 at 11:33 AM by Tiffany Miller

Good Morning Everyone,

I don't know about you, but I love Legos. I have loved them since I was a kid. I had the coolest sets. I had a space set and a pirate set that were my favorites. I still have pieces of my space set. My sister had a horse and barn set that we would often play with together as my space set would fly down and meet her on your country range. Legos are the best way to get kids imaginations soaring to new possibilities.

The season finale of Lego Master was on last night. I did not miss a episode. I enjoyed watching groups of people that love Legos like I do, create the most epic creations. They made it look so easy. They had builds that would move and come alive. Some of the biggest sets I had ever seen. The main goal of the show was to show people that you are not to old to use your imagination and you can do anything if you set your mind to it. As adults we often forget what it was like to play and have fun. We are busy and have a full plate which is understandable. Play for adults is critical in our stressful go-go-go lives. Play has been shown to release endorphins, improve brain functionality, and stimulate creativity!! So today I am encouraging you to PLAY!!

Since the weather is looking like its going to be pretty chilly and keep us indoors, I am challenging you to create something epic and use your imagination today. I want to see you guys build something awesome!! Here are some of my favorite builds that you can build at home.

LEGO Catapult

There are so many amazing possibilities that you can do with Legos. This website is awesome and has amazing ideas to help get you guys started. https://littlebinsforlittlehands.com/lego-challenge-calendar-ideas-kids/. Legos are such a fun way to help get us away from screens and involved with the family. Creating, laughing and using our imaginations together. Pick a challenge and then post your results on our ERC Facebook page. Have fun today and if you need some inspiration go check our Lego Masters. You are never to old to have fun and play!!
