Good Morning,

Even though its cloudy outside and we have a chilly cold front moving in, I cant help but think of bright colors. That's why todays theme is Rainbows!!!!

FUN FACTS!!!!

What makes rainbows so special is that no two people see the same exact thing. Since it all depends on how the light is being bent and reflected back to you, everyone sees something different. There is no end to a rainbow. Even though they look like an arch to us, or an upside down letter U, rainbows are actually full circles.We only see some of the circle because we usually view the rainbow from the ground. 

Now its craft time!! This is a fun and easy craft that you can do with your kids with Items you already have at home. 

• 2 coffee filters
• Washable markers 
• Water
• An eye dropper or small measuring spoon
• 1 pipe cleaner (12″ long)

You will need TWO coffee filters for this craft. Place one inside the other so they fit together well. 
 Color your coffee filters anyway you like.
When you're done, add some droplets of water so the color runs, creating a tie dye effect.
Once you are done with the water, set in a place for the coffee flitters to dry.
When they are dry, fold the coffee filters and then tie the pipe cleaner in the middle. 
Spread out the wings and you have a colorful butterfly!!

Today is all about color, so use your imagination and get creative. Play a game with your kids where they have to find specific colors in the house. Lets them create a game with colors.
