Peanut Butter Bread!

Posted on August 19, 2020 at 10:09 AM by Tiffany Miller

Good Morning Everyone,

I don't know about you, but I LOVE peanut butter!! I especially love it when it is combined with chocolate. I remember being a kid and the only thing I wanted to eat for lunch was a peanut butter sandwich. Sometimes I would use jelly or even with honey, but it was by far my favorite treat. I remember reading a children's book when I was in third grade where the main character put peanut butter on her toast. That was a game changer for me. My family didn't like peanut butter like I did, so I never knew it could be added to so many amazing things. It was at camp were I discovered eating peanut butter on ?my pancakes, and I've eaten them that way ever since.

Peanut butter has been around since 1890's, but wasn't popular until World War 1 and World War 2 were it became a substance for soldiers to eat while they traveled. The king of rock and roll, Mr. Elvis himself loved peanut butter and bananas sandwiches and we all know ET loved Reese's peanut butter candies. Even I still get excited for the holiday Reese's Pieces candies to come out. Who doesn't love a little tree or egg shaped treat.

With so many amazing ways to have this treat, I am excited to share with you my new favorite way to enjoy it that I'm sure your family will love.
No- Yeast Peanut Butter Bread:

Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray or softened butter, for greasing
1 1/3 cups milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup chunky chocolate chips
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter. Line with a strip of parchment paper so that it hangs over the narrow ends of the loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the milk and peanut butter until well blended. Add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and fold to combine. Fold in the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake until a cake tester comes out just clean, about 40 minutes. Let cool for 1 hour, then remove from the loaf pan and enjoy.

That's it!! This amazing bread is great for a dessert or even for breakfast. If you are a fan of peanut butter like I am, then this will be something you make from now on like me. If you can't have peanut butter, no worries, you can use whichever nut treat in the milk mix that you like. Like almond butter or even cashew butter. Feel free to add whatever you like in your bread. Like nuts or different types of chocolate chips. Maybe cinnamon or even honey. The sky is the limit. With school coming just around the corner, this is a great way to spend some time with your kids and make this treat for them to enjoy for breakfast on their big day. Just have fun as a family. These are the kinda memories they will remember for a lifetime. Have a fantastic day everyone.
