Good Morning everyone,
Happy Friday!! My favorite day of the week for so many reasons. Not only is the weekend finally here, but today is Pizza and Game night!! I hope you all had fun last week playing the dice game. This week I thought I’d share how to make a pizza treat that has become one of my families favorites!!
Crescent Roll Pizza:
Ingredients
1 (8-oz) can Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent rolls
24 slices (about 5 oz) pepperoni
2 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (1/2 cup)
1 up tomato pasta or pizza sauce, heated
Directions:
1.Heat oven to 375°F separate dough into 8 triangles; pat out each triangle slightly.
2.Place 3 slices pepperoni, slightly overlapping, on center of each triangle. Top each with about 1 tablespoon cheese.
3. Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point. Place rolls, point side down, on ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 375°F for 10 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm crescents with warm pasta sauce for dipping.
That’s it!! This amazing pizza is fast and easy and will be a crowd favorite. We love to put some olive oil on top and sprinkle some Italian seasons before it cooks. Theres so many different ways you can make it. Maybe add some veggies or different meats and cheese. Use pizza sauce or even alfredo. Whatever you do get the kids involved and have a fun night cooking dinner as a family.
A fun game idea would be to make your own checker board using reusable objects and cardboard for earth week that you have around your house. Have the kids paint some rocks and color some card board to make a game board. Maybe you make up your own game. Have fun creating a game that your family will love.
Whatever you decided to do make sure you take some time to spend it with your family in a fun and creative way. Spend some extra time loving on your family and appreciating them. These are the times were we can make the best memories with our kids. Have a fun night everyone and a great weekend!!
