Welcome

Emporia Recreation Commission, Emporia Sports Promotion, and City of Emporia, welcomes you to Emporia for the 5A State Basketball Championship. We know that historic White Auditorium will provide a great atmosphere for both students and fans alike. You are encouraged to read the 2024-25 KSHSAA Basketball Manual in detail for specific tournament information.

Every effort will be made by Tournament Management to administer the tournament effectively and in keeping with the Basketball Manual.

Ticket Sales and Information

We will be accepting Credit/Debit cards during the tournament. Individuals may opt to purchase GoFan tickets online through the KSHSAA website. (Additional fees will apply)

Parking

Please do not park in the unloading area east of the Auditorium. We recommend that valuables not be left in unattended vehicles.

Review the map below for approved parking.  Any violators parked illegally will be ticketed.

Student Designated Seating

Each school will have an area designated for their students. The area assigned may be different for each game.

Student/fan seating will be assigned on the according to the Arena Outline below. 

Students and fans are not to be on the floor before or after the game.
