Youth Tennis
Former ESU Head Tennis Coach Dr. George Milton will again be offering tennis instructions this summer. George brings a wealth of tennis background and experience. Rackets will be provided upon request and all tennis balls. Please bring your own water bottle. Sessions will be held at Hammond Park Tennis Courts at 18th and Merchant Street.

Emporia High Soccer Academy
Emporia High Women’s Soccer Coach Oscar Macias will be hosting a youth soccer camp with the focus on fundamentals, ball skills, field-spacing and offensive/defensive positioning. The camp will provide a fun, safe and productive environment, with the maximum amount of learning about the most popular sport in the world. With the Jones Aquatic Center closed for the summer, campers will not be transported over to the JAC for swimming and parents will need to pick up children at the camp site. Camp participants need to bring a ball, shin guards, soccer cleats, and water bottle. For more information, contact Oscar Macias at 620-757-3312.

Hornet Baseball Camp
Emporia State Head Coach Seth Wheeler and his staff will offer an exciting baseball camp for young ball players. The camp offered for kids 5-9 years of age will concentrate on pitching and catching as well as hitting and defense. Camp for ball players 10-14 years of age will concentrate on all aspects of the game. Come ready to have a good time and learn the fundamentals of baseball. Don’t forget to bring your glove, hat and shoes. Camp will be held on Glennen Field at the Trusler Sports Complex.

ERC/Lady Spartan Basketball Camp
Join the Emporia High girls basketball program as they provide an exciting camp this summer for girls 2nd to 6th grade. The camp will focus on fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. As the girls progress, the drills will progress with them. The camp will be taught by EHS Coach Carolyn Dorsey and her high school players. The camp will meet every Tuesday/Thursday afternoon from 1-3 p.m. at Emporia High School. We will bus the girls over to the Jones Aquatic Center to swim after camp and parents will need to have kids picked up from the JAC by 5:30 p.m.

Junior Golf
This instructional golf program will teach the basic fundamentals of golf, along with the proper etiquette of the game. It is designed to meet the needs of the beginning golfer, all the way up to experienced players. The program will be held at the Emporia Golf Course with Marcus Erkel, Head Golf Professional. A qualified instructor(s) will travel with players and assist Marcus with the program. Bring your own clubs. Loaner clubs may be available for checkout if needed. Snack bar is available at the golf course. Bring water and a hat. The last two weeks of the program, parents are invited to participate with their kids on the course. There will be six sessions. Sign up for either Tuesdays or Thursdays.

PGA Junior League - Emporia Golf Course
PGA Junior League brings family and friends together around fun team golf experiences with expert coaching and instruction from PGA and LPGA Professionals. This league is open to boys and girls ages 13 to under 17. All skill levels - no golf experience required! Kids will learn the game and enjoy relaxed competition in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and teaches sportsmanship.

Track Club
Open for grades 1st through 6th, this six-week program is designed for instructional learning and enjoyment of track and field. Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Emporia Middle School track. An informal track meet will be held at the end of the season to showcase our athletes at a site to be determined.
