Today looks like its going to be a beautiful day. With the weather warming up, it's nice to go on walks or spend some time outside. That's why today is all about clouds!!
FUN FACTS!!!!
Did you know that tiny droplets of water in the air rise with warm air. As they rise, they get cooler. They combine with other droplets of water to form clouds. Clouds are white because they reflect light from the sun. Gray clouds become so filled with water that they don't reflect lights. Cumulus clouds look like fluffy tufts of cotton floating in the sky. Sometimes they might take the shape of a dragon, or a turtle or some other creature creature. You'll see cumulus clouds on warm, sunny days, like today.

Clouds in a jar!!!
To make are rain cloud in a jar here are a few things you will need:

- Food coloring
- Water
- A clear jar
- Shaving cream
- Plastic pipettes
*First mix some food coloring into some water to make rain. Get creative and make whatever color you want
*Fill your jar about 3/4 full of cool water
*Make a fluffy "cloud" with shaving cream on top of the water
*Take your colored water and drop droplets on top of your shaving cream
*Within a few mins the first drops of colored rain make their way through the cloud.
Another fun idea is to go outside and look at the clouds and draw what you see. This gives kids a great opportunity to use their imaginations. Of course make suer you tag us on Facebook with your creations. Have a great time outside today.
