Summer Scape is a licensed daycare program through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). Summer Scape will run from May 29th to July 26th.
Summer Scape will be supervised by qualified leaders 18 years or older with a minimum of ten hours of KDHE approved training and experience working with children. We will maintain a 1 to 15 staff to participant ratio.
The program will strive to meet the developmental needs of particular age groups and more importantly, the individual need of each child. The purpose of Summer Scape is to be of service to the child, the parent, and the community by providing an affordable, safe, positive, educational, stimulating and fun experience for every child involved.
The program is prepared in advance by the program supervisor and the camp staff. A schedule of specialized activities will be made available each week. This program includes breakfast, lunch and daily field trips.
Parents must submit completed paperwork including: Health History Form, notarized Authorization for Emergency Medical Care, Authorization for Dispensing Medications, and Parental Consent Forms for Field Trips prior to the first day.
Registration is based on the grade the child will be going into.
You may register your child for a single day or week.
Pre-registration and payment are required at the Emporia Recreation Center before attending.
