The Emporia Recreation Commission offers various rental opportunities. Some rentals require a damage deposit which is separate from the rental amount and is refunded if rental conditions are fulfilled. Emporia Recreation prohibits the use of alcohol in or on the facility property and the use of tobacco in the Recreation Center. Final Payment is due 2 weeks before rental date. Damage deposit holds day and time and is due when contract is signed.

Meeting Room

The Social Hall will accommodate up to 150 people in any meeting or banquet style. An attached kitchen makes the room convenient to hold reunions, showers and many more activities. The room is available to rent seven days a week and requires a damage deposit.

Game Room

The Game Room is equipped with 4 billiards tables, 1 snooker table, 1 air hockey table, 2 electronic dart boards, 1 table tennis table and 1 fully functional cable TV with DVD/VCR. The game room will comfortably accommodate 30 people and is available to rent seven days a week after regular game room hours and requires a damage deposit.

Building Rentals

ERC offers entire building rentals for large groups, school functions, and family gatherings. Call the Rec. Center for rental package prices.

Indoor Swimming Pool

Our indoor pool has a capacity of 50 swimmers and ranges from a pool depth of 3 feet 6 inches to 12 foot. Heavy duty, oversized steps located in the shallow end and a handicap lift located on the deck allows any swimmer to ease into the pool. Reserve the pool for a private party on Saturday or Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm or 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Private parties allow 25 swimmers to swim and the viewing room to host the party. Gymnasium

The ERC gymnasium is equipped with one full court basketball court or 2 short courts that can be used for volleyball or basketball. Gymnasium rental is based on availability of gym and ERC programs.

Racquetball Courts

Our building has two racquetball courts you can reserve up to one week in advance by calling our control desk at 340-6393. Our courts are also equipped to use as wallyball courts and can be reserved with your next building rental or big occasion at the rec.
