Lifeguard Training

Lifeguard: An expert swimmer trained and employed to watch over other swimmers. Does this sound like you? Emporia Rec. will be offering Red Cross certified life guarding classes. For this class you must be at least 15 years of age before the last scheduled written exam, and you must attend all class dates and times to pass the class. You must also be able to swim 300 meters, swim 20 meters to retrieve a brick off the bottom of the pool and swim back in a given time. Must attend all four days.

Price includes Book, Pocket Mask, and all Supplies you need. Will receive Lifeguard, First-Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications.
